On September 20, 2019, the inaugural meeting and the first working meeting of the violin standard working group of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Musical Instruments were held in Jiangsu Fengling Musical Instrument Group. Wang Wei, Secretary General of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Musical Instruments, Huang Yunhai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Jiangsu Market Supervision Administration, Hong Miao, Director of the Standardization Division, Liu Ronghua, member of the Standing Committee of Taixing Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Standing Committee of Taixing Municipal Government, Gu Weizhong, Director of Taizhou Market Supervision Administration Wang Xiaoyun, the mayor of Huangqiao Town, and Li Shu, the vice chairman and president of the violin branch of the China Musical Instrument Association, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Qian Fumin, Deputy Secretary General of the China Musical Instrument Association and Secretary General of the Violin Branch.

Wang Wei, Secretary General of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee, announced the approval for the establishment of the working group. Subsequently, guests from the podium issued letters of appointment to all members of the working group. The Standardization Committee has hired Professor Hua Tianreng, former Vice Dean of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Wang Wei, Secretary General of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee, and Zhang Rong, Director of the Standardization Department of Taizhou Market Supervision Administration, as consultants; Appoint the Chairman of Jiangsu Fengling Musical Instrument Group as the Leader of the Violin Standards Working Group, and four comrades, including Liu Yundong, Chairman of Beijing East China Musical Instrument Co., Ltd., Guan Shangzhi, Chairman of Guangzhou Clemena Co., Ltd., Chen Zhaoming, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Red Cotton Musical Instrument Co., Ltd., and Qian Fumin, Secretary General of the Violin Branch of the China Musical Instrument Association, as the Deputy Leaders of the Working Group; Li Xiaochen, General Manager of Fengling Musical Instrument Group, serves as the Secretary General of the working group.
Hong Miao, Director of the Standardization Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, gave a summary report for the establishment conference, fully recognizing the development of the Huangqiao musical instrument industry and its contribution to the standardization industry. He requested the violin standard working group to carefully study and study the "Management Regulations of the National Standardization Technical Committee", effectively carry out the systematic work of standard collection, formulation, revision, and implementation, and vigorously cultivate and introduce excellent standardization technical talents, Comprehensively promote the scientific and standardized development of the industry.
On the afternoon of September 20th, the first meeting of the violin standard working group of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee was held, with all members of the working group, expert consultants, and relevant personnel from provincial and municipal market supervision departments attending the meeting. The meeting first heard a work report from Li Shu, President of the Violin Branch of the China Musical Instrument Association and Leader of the Violin Standards Working Group. Li Shu first reviewed the preparatory work of the working group in his report, and made detailed arrangements for the main work of the working group in the next stage from six aspects: learning national standardization policies, quickly promoting the formulation (revision) of violin standards, scientifically implementing international standards, fully promoting standardization work, strengthening talent cultivation in standardization work, and actively serving the development of the violin industry. Subsequently, Qian Fumin, Secretary General of the Violin Branch of the China Musical Instrument Association and Deputy Leader of the Violin Standards Working Group, led everyone to jointly review the "Articles of Association" for the work of the Violin Standards Working Group. Li Xiaochen, General Manager of Fengling Group and Secretary General of the Violin Standards Working Group, read out the working rules of the working group.
Due to the solid preparation work of the preparatory team in the previous stage, the first meeting also specifically discussed the draft of the soon to be applied for revision of the "Cello Standard". The attending experts put forward many reasonable, compliant, and innovative suggestions, which basically formed the draft for review of the standard. Finally, Wang Wei, Secretary General of the National Musical Instrument Standardization Technical Committee, summarized the whole day's meeting and proposed clear work goals for the future work of the violin standard working group.
