In April, the fragrance of spring is abundant. On the morning of April 28th, the 2011 Fengling Violin Cultural Tourism Festival solemnly opened in Huangqiao, an ancient town. At the Jiangsu Fengling Group Music Square, more than 10 news media outlets, more than 40 travel agency executives, and more than 300 tourists from the Yangtze River Delta region gathered together, marking the beginning of the 2011 Fengling Violin Cultural Tourism Festival.

Wang Feng, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Technology of the Ministry of Culture, and city leaders Sun Hongjian, Xu Wenzhong, and Zhou Guixiang jointly launched the induction ball and announced the opening of the 2011 Fengling Violin Cultural Tourism Festival.

It is understood that this tourism festival aims to echo the "Third China Taizhou Waterside International Tourism Festival", highlight the unique cultural charm of Huangqiao Ancient Town and the national Industrial tourism demonstration highlights, and form three highlights of tourism, namely, violin culture, ancient town charm, and red classics, with the theme of experiencing culture and charming travel.

In recent years, Huangqiao Town has cultivated tourism as a pillar industry, strengthened the construction of "scenic spots, landscapes, and scenic spots" around the two characteristics of "ancient" and "red", and actively developed green eco-tourism and Industrial tourism, forming a featured tourism route integrating ancient town tourism, Red tourism, violin culture tourism, famous gardens tourism, and leisure eco-tourism.
